The course in Methods and Techniques of Research in Social Sciences aims to explain the usefulness of social research in public administration, with special attention being paid to encouraging rigorous, scientific thinking among students.
By presenting the elements of research design, the main research methods in the social sciences but also of the different ways of data processing with the help of the SPSS program, we want to accumulate as broad knowledge and practical skills related to social research in public administration.
The course in Research Methods and Techniques in Social Sciences aims at:
• Explain the usefulness of social research in public administration;
• Encourage rigorous, scientific thinking;
• Present the main research methods in the social sciences;
• Present some ways of simple data processing with the help of the SPSS programme;
• Establishing the knowledge and establishing the necessary skills for a researcher through a practical application.
