is a course in the theory of international migration and development without a
textbook. Instead it is conceived to include a range of texts, tackling a
series of conceptual, normative and empirical issues related to migration-development
nexus, ranging from classical development arguments to contemporary
scholarship. The main aim of this course is to unravell the most important
actors and factors driving development in migrants’ home society.
